/DreaMotion Trilogy

A Surreal Dance Through Dreams

About the project

The dreaMotion trilogy is a collection of three surreal animated short films that explore the delicate space between dreams and movement. Each film presents a unique, poetic journey through shifting realities, mysterious characters, and flowing visuals—deeply inspired by the expressive language of dance and the nostalgic sound of the accordion.

Rooted in emotion and visual rhythm, the trilogy moves like a dream: unpredictable, symbolic, and open to personal interpretation.

DreaMotion

The trilogy begins with a young girl who follows a mysterious black cat through an ever-changing world. The landscapes shift like fragments of memory—abstract, symbolic, and flowing.

Visually, dreaMotion is built around a bold palette of deep red and black, often associated with fear or intensity. Yet here, these colors take on a gentler, more poetic tone. There is no horror, no fear—only a soft sense of mystery and wonder, like wandering through a dream that asks questions rather than giving answers.

The absence of dialogue allows movement, light, and emotion to guide the story, leaving space for personal interpretation.

Themes: curiosity, transformation, quiet mystery

Style: dark yet delicate, symbolic, emotionally immersive

Pink Dream

In Pink Dream, a dancer, a cheetah, and a fox step into a soft pastel-colored tunnel where time bends and forms change. The visuals are light yet surreal—filled with strange characters and gentle transitions. A soft whistling tune plays in the background, enhancing the floating, dreamlike quality of the journey.

The film feels like a choreographed dream, where movement becomes emotion.

Themes: fluid identity, wonder, visual poetry
Style: pastel surrealism, slow transitions, dream logic

Ocean Dream

The final film, Ocean Dream, drifts into a meditative oceanic world. The visuals mimic the flow of fabric and water, dissolving boundaries between figure and form. Influenced by the grace of dance and the ebb and flow of music, the film offers a quiet, introspective close to the trilogy.

Themes: surrender, emotional depth, stillness
Style: underwater surrealism, visual meditation, motion-as-music
